Did you know that there are incredible waterfalls right in our backyard?
Prepare to be wowed as we experience one of the most impressive waterfalls along the Niagara Escarpment, Eugenia Falls. The incredible views are just a short trek from the parking lot area to a lookout point right at the top of the falls. For the very adventurous just follow the trails downstream a hundred feet or so to the most amazing view of the whole falls.
We then head to one of Grey County’s best-kept secrets, Hoggs Falls. This is a small, secluded and mostly wild waterfall, located in a forest preserve in Beaver Valley. The trail to the falls from the road is a mere 5 minute trek. There are trails close by for those that want more. This is set up to be easy going and relaxing and is great for beginners or anyone who just wants to enjoy the waterfalls.
Next we head to Georgian Hills Vineyards where you will partake in sampling 4 wines or ciders and their famous Ida Red ice wine paired with cheddar cheese. We then head just minutes down the road to Thornbury Village Cider House where each person in your group will get to choose between a flight of cider, wine or beer while you relax inside their cozy tasting room. For those that want something different, try their non-alcoholic cider, it’s truly delicious. They offer something for everyone.
